Footy Center 1.2.9 Manual
The complete public user guide for Footy Center 1.2.9. It covers game detection, smart installs, the download hub, Players DB, the FM26 Footy Face Server, Footy Points, community uploads, customizers, the website User CP and troubleshooting.
1. What is Footy Center?
Footy Center is the Footyshoe download, installation and community hub. It combines game-aware mod installation with search, status tracking, user tools and community features so you do not have to manage every ZIP and Football Manager folder by hand.
Download Hub
Browse content by game family, game version and category with preview information, status, filters and install actions.
Smart Install Rules
Each supported game and category can have its own exact destination. Footy Center blocks unsafe installs when it cannot determine a trusted target.
Players & Faces
Use searchable Players DB pages and, for FM26, the Footy Face Server for custom 3D face packages, hair and eyes.
Community
Footy Points lets members submit useful content, follow its review status and earn points after approved contributions.
2. Requirements
- A Windows PC supported by the current Footy Center build.
- The game you want to manage installed when an install needs the game folder.
- An internet connection for the live download catalog, Patreon account checks, Players DB, Footy Points and online pages.
- A Footyshoe Patreon account for account-based features. Free and paid membership rights are controlled by the live access rules.
- Enough free disk space for the downloaded archive and the extracted mod. Temporary ZIP files are cleaned up after a normal installation.
- Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime for embedded website pages when Windows does not already provide it.
3. First Start
- Open Footy Center.
The app loads the online download catalog and your saved local state. - Let game detection run.
Detected games are shown in the navigation and in the Detected Games bar. - Check Options → Game Folders.
If a game is missing or detected incorrectly, use Search My PC and save the correct game/documents paths. - Choose a game version.
Open a family such as Football Manager and select FM26, FM24 or another supported version. - Open ALL or a category.
Available items are shown before already installed items, making new content easier to find.
4. Patreon Login & Access
Footy Center uses Patreon to identify your Footyshoe account. Guest, free-member and paid-member access can be different and is controlled by the live Footyshoe access rules.
- Choose Patreon Login.
Footy Center opens the secure Patreon authorization flow. - Authorize Footyshoe.
Use the Patreon account that belongs to your Footyshoe membership. - Return to Footy Center.
The app verifies membership, refreshes your rights and shows your member name and Footy Points when available. - Use the website account too.
On Footyshoe.com you can also login with Patreon to open User CP. During the same website session, Device Reset does not require another Patreon login.
5. Understanding the Interface

| Extra Pages | Online pages enabled by Footyshoe can open inside Footy Center using the embedded Edge browser. |
6. Game Detection, Documents Paths & Safe Installs
Footy Center keeps exact game-version paths instead of treating “Football Manager” as one generic game. This matters because FM26, FM24, FM15 and other versions can need different folders and install rules.
- Open Options → Game Folders.
You can see the known game root and documents root for each supported game. - Use Search My PC when needed.
The scanner looks for supported installations and proposes detected roots. - Choose Use Results and Save.
The selected paths are stored in Footy Center’s install catalog for future installs. - Install normally.
Each download is matched to an exact game + category rule. Tokens such as the game root or documents root are then resolved. - Do not force an unknown target.
If no safe install rule exists for a package, Footy Center shows an error when you click Install instead of silently placing it in a random folder.
7. Download and Install Mods
- Select the exact game version.
For example Football Manager → FM26. - Choose ALL or a category.
ALL shows everything for that game; category buttons narrow the list. - Read the information first.
Use Info to check the preview, description and any special notes. - Click Install.
Footy Center downloads the archive to a temporary file and extracts it using the package install rule. - Let cleanup finish.
For a normal installed ZIP, the temporary archive is deleted after the install attempt. Download-only packages keep the intentional copy in the downloads folder. - Reload or restart the game if needed.
Graphics may need a skin reload; databases commonly require a new save; plugins or game-file changes may require a full restart.
8. Filters, Sorting & View Modes

| Card / List View | Changes presentation only; the same packages, status and access rules are used. |
9. Players Database
Players DB is a separate searchable player database inside Footy Center. Available databases are discovered from the Footyshoe server, so additional supported games can be added without hardcoding every database into the app.
Dynamic databases
Footy Center can discover databases for games such as FM26 and PES6 and future databases when they are published.
Player search
Search by player name, club and other available database fields instead of scrolling through a huge list.
Age & presets
Use age and preset filters to quickly narrow the database to the kind of player you want.
Separate from downloads
PLAYERS DB is a data/search feature, not a normal ZIP category that should be installed into the game.
- Select a supported game.
Choose the game version that has a Players DB available. - Open PLAYERS DB.
The normal download cards are replaced by the database view. - Search or filter.
Use player name, club, age or the available presets. - Clear filters to start again.
The database remains linked to the selected game version.
10. FM26 Footy Face Server
Footy Face Server is the new FM26 3D face system in Footy Center 1.2.9. Player content can be delivered as a single .footyplayer package containing the face mesh/texture data and optional hair, eyes and configuration used by the server.
3D player packages
A .footyplayer package keeps the files for one player together and lets the Face Server load the protected content when needed.
Hair & eyes
Supported packages can use custom hair plus custom eye textures, colors, scale and per-eye placement.
In-game editor
The editor overlay can search active players/faces/hair and adjust supported eye, hair and face settings.
Freecam
The improved freecam helps inspect faces and players in-game from custom angles.

11. Footy Points
Footy Points is the Footy Center community reward system. Members can contribute useful downloads, have them reviewed, and receive points for approved work. Points remain tied to the Patreon account and can be viewed inside Footy Center and in the Footyshoe website User CP.
Earn points
Approved community submissions can receive Footy Points. The exact award is decided by the current server rules/review and can change over time.
Available vs reserved
Available points can be used for rewards. When a reward request is waiting to be processed, its cost is reserved so the same points cannot be spent twice.
Access rewards
Free members can request the currently available access rewards when they have enough available points. The reward list and prices are loaded from the server.
Paid members keep points
If your paid Patreon membership already gives full access, your Footy Points stay saved instead of being wasted on an access reward you do not need.

12. Community Uploads & Review Status
The Footy Points upload form is for sharing complete, useful community content. A submission is private while it waits for review and only approved work should become part of the community download flow.
- Choose Game → Version → Category.
The version and category lists are built from the current Footy Center download catalog so the submission matches an existing game structure. - Add useful information.
Enter a clear title, full description, creator/author credits, optional source link and installation notes when they are needed. - Choose ZIP or external link.
You can upload a ZIP directly to Footy Center or submit a normal http/https external download link. - Add a preview image.
Community submissions require a JPG, PNG or WEBP preview so reviewers and users can see what the download is. - Confirm sharing rights.
You must confirm the work is yours or that you have permission to share it and that the download is complete and working. - Submit for review.
The item appears in My Downloads as Pending until it has been checked.

13. Footyshoe Website User CP
The Footyshoe website now has a Footy Center User CP. Login with Patreon once on the website and use the same session for your account overview and Device Reset.
Footy Points overview
See available, total and reserved points plus recent earning totals.
My Community Downloads
See your submitted title, game, category, review status, review note and awarded points.
Reward requests
See recent reward requests and their current processing status.
Device information
See the linked device status and open Device Reset directly from User CP.
- Open Footyshoe.com.
Click Patreon Login in the website header. - Authorize Patreon.
After successful membership verification you are returned to User CP. - Use User CP.
Check Footy Points, upload reviews, access information and device status. - Open Device Reset if needed.
Because the website session is shared, you do not need to complete another Patreon login immediately.
14. Online Pages Inside Footy Center
Footy Center can show additional Footyshoe pages directly inside the main content area. These pages are loaded with the Microsoft Edge WebView2 browser engine instead of the old Internet Explorer control.
- Additional pages can appear in the Footy Center navigation when Footyshoe enables them.
- The embedded browser supports modern websites and provides Back, Forward, Refresh and Open in Browser controls.
- Normal web links can stay inside the embedded view; mail links are opened by the operating system.
- If WebView2 Runtime is missing, Footy Center shows a clear runtime message instead of old Internet Explorer script errors.
15. Favorites
- Find a download.
Browse a game/category or search for the item. - Toggle Favorite.
Footy Center stores the favorite locally for your app installation. - Use the Favorites filter.
Only packages you marked as favorites are shown.
16. Updates, New Items & Outdated Content
Footy Center refreshes its live catalog and can compare local installation state with newer packages. FM26 content can also be marked outdated when a version number in the package name is older than the current FM version reported by Footyshoe.
- Use Refresh / Latest to reload the current server catalog.
- The Updates filter focuses on installed content with a newer package available.
- The New filter shows recently added server content.
- The Outdated state is separate from the normal update flag and is useful for FM-version-specific packages.
- Latest Downloads on the home screen shows a recent cross-game selection.
17. Options Button
The Options button is where users manage app behaviour, install paths and general settings.
18. Customizers
The customizers are advanced tools. Use the sidebar on the left to switch between them.
19. Linked Device Reset
Footy Center can link an account to an active device. If Windows is reinstalled, important hardware changes or you move to another PC, use the official reset tool before trying to bind the new installation.
- Open User CP or the reset page.
Use https://footyshoe.com/usercp.php or https://footyshoe.com/resetfooty.php. - Login with Patreon if needed.
If you are already logged into the Footyshoe website, the reset page uses that same session. - Check the current device status.
The page shows current status, last seen and reset history information. - Reset the binding.
The current HWID is cleared and the account is put into pending rebind status. - Login in Footy Center on the new PC.
The new installation can then bind as allowed by the current access rules.
20. Reporting a Bug
Use the Footy Center bug report page when something is reproducibly wrong. Patreon login is optional on the bug page; logged-in website users can be identified automatically, while guests can enter name and email manually.
- Open Bug Report.
Go to https://footyshoe.com/bugraport.php. - Choose the affected area.
For example Downloads / installation, Footy Face Server, Players Database, Footy Points, Customizer / tools or Login / Patreon access. - Describe the problem clearly.
Include the exact error, game/version, Footy Center version and what you were doing. - Add reproduction steps.
Simple numbered steps make difficult bugs much easier to reproduce. - Attach a screenshot when useful.
JPG, PNG or WEBP screenshots are optional. Do not include passwords or other private information.
21. Troubleshooting
Use these checks when something does not work as expected.

- Footy Center and Footyshoe community content are fan-made tools/content and are not official Sports Interactive, SEGA, Konami or EA products.
- Always read the information supplied with game-file replacements, database changes and advanced customizers.
- Back up files you cannot easily restore before manual experimentation.
- Do not upload content you do not have permission to share.
- Never include passwords, Patreon tokens or other private account data in bug-report screenshots or community uploads.
